I have lost/not received my certificate, how can I get a copy?

You can expect to receive your digital certificate 1-2 weeks after class. Your physical certificate will be mailed from Pool & Hot Tub Alliance in approximately 4-6 weeks after class. In case you have not receive your certificate, please contact PHTA for a replacement:

What do I need to bring to class?

Bring a photo ID, notebook, highlighter, pen, and a calculator, and pencil for testing.

Will I receive my class material before class?

Apart from online classes, class materials will be provided on the day of the class. If you would like to receive your material in advance, an additional $15 shipping fee will be added. Please note that you will be responsible for bringing your materials on the day of the class.

Will lunch be provided?

Students will have a one-hour lunch break. We ask that you bring your own lunch or familiarize yourself with nearby food establishments.

What is the exam like?

The exam is an open book test consisting of 50 multiple choice questions. You need a minimum of 74% to pass the course.

When do I find out if I have passed or failed the exam?

Once you turn in your exam, the instructor can grade your test immediately and inform you on-site whether you have passed or failed.

What if I failed my exam, can I take a retest?

You may retake the exam on the second day of any two-day class with your original instructor for the cost of $285. Please submit a new registration form along with payment.

Can a registration be transferred to another person?

Please submit a written request to seminars@horizonpoolsupply.com including substitute participant’s information including their phone number, email address, and mailing address, and the name of the participant they are replacing.

What if I missed my class, can I reschedule?

We expect that all participants will attend their scheduled class. If a participant misses their class, their registration fee is considered forfeited.

I need to reschedule, how can I do so?

Participants are allowed a one-time reschedule with the same instructor. Please submit a written request to seminars@horizonpoolsupply.com with the participant’s name and the new class date you would like to reschedule for.

How can I cancel my registration?

Please submit a cancellation request to seminars@horizonpoolsupply.com with your name and class date. A refund can be issued if no reschedule had taken place, and we receive your written request at least one week before class start date.

Do you offer classes in Spanish?

We currently do not offer Spanish classes. Please reach out to us to better assist you with options.
